Heat Exchanger Bay Installation
Role: Construction management and field execution leadership.
- Heavy mechanical equipment placement
- Rigging, logistics and multi-trade coordination
- Shutdown, QA/QC and turnover planning
Industrial projects rarely fail because of engineering alone. They fail when planning, coordination and field execution do not align. Coastal bridges the gap between engineering and construction with practical leadership developed over more than two decades on demanding industrial projects across Canada.

Mining, oil & gas, energy generation, industrial manufacturing and heavy industrial work.
Execution leadership from bid support through closeout.
Level 1–5 scheduling, work packaging and progress tracking.
Proactive planning, controls, JHAs and field leadership.
Why Coastal
Coastal bridges the gap between engineering intent and successful field execution. Our advice is grounded in more than two decades of building, coordinating and turning over complex industrial work.
Our approach comes from leading underground mining, industrial shutdowns, mechanical construction and commissioning in active facilities.
We protect the owner’s interests by balancing safety, schedule, cost, quality, operability and long-term project success.
We focus on plans that crews can safely build, test, commission and turn over—not solutions that only work on paper.
How We Help
Coastal helps owners, EPCMs, contractors and project teams reduce construction risk, improve field coordination and deliver successful outcomes from early planning through commissioning and closeout.
Align contractors, trades, vendors, owners and engineers around clear priorities, interfaces and execution controls.
Develop realistic Level 1–5 schedules, sequencing, manpower plans, work packages and progress controls grounded in field conditions.
Identify missing information, execution constraints, interface risks and constructability issues before they become delays or change orders.
Build clear walkdown, testing, deficiency, QA/QC and turnover systems that support safe startup and disciplined closeout.
Apply proven leadership from uranium, hard rock mining, oil & gas, energy generation, industrial manufacturing, process facilities, decommissioning and infrastructure work.
Clarify objectives, constraints, safety context, project risks and owner requirements.
Build schedules, FIWPs, logistics plans, manpower plans and execution controls.
Support safety leadership, QA/QC, field supervision, coordination and progress tracking.
Close out commissioning, turnover documentation, deficiencies and lessons learned.
Every engagement is tailored to the scope. Coastal can support a quick one-day review, a defined review package, or a longer-term construction management / owner-side advisory assignment.

Indigenous Engagement & Partnerships
Indigenous collaboration is a core pillar of Coastal Mining & Mechanical Solutions Ltd. We support respectful, long-term relationships with First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities, with a focus on local participation, training, capacity building and lasting economic benefit.
As Coastal expands in Nova Scotia and across Atlantic Canada, Indigenous work and partnership-based project delivery will remain central to the company’s direction. The goal is not only to deliver technical work safely, but to strengthen relationships, support local opportunity and help leave capability behind after the project is complete.
